This started with a simple observation: almost every missionary leaves with a journal, and almost none of them come home with the one they left with.
The journal was too small, or the paper was too thin, or it just never felt like something worth writing in. So it stayed in a bag. Then the two years passed, and the record of them is a handful of emails.
What we make
A journal built to survive a mission and worth opening every night. Full-size, lay-flat binding, thick no-bleed paper, and his name engraved on the cover so it's unmistakably his from the first day.
We include a pocket journal too, because the things worth writing down happen at two in the afternoon on someone's doorstep, not at nine at night when there's finally time. He catches it in the small one and writes it properly in the large one.
Who we are
We're based in Utah, and we engrave and pack every order ourselves. Nothing is drop-shipped from a warehouse that has never seen the product. If your order is wrong, you're talking to the person who made it.
Why it matters
The journal isn't really for him. He'll appreciate it. But the person who reads it twenty years from now is you.
