Engraving and packing take 5–7 business days, plus 2–4 days in transit. If his departure is inside two weeks, choose expedited shipping at checkout, or email us the departure date before you order and we'll confirm we can make it before charging you.
What exactly gets engraved on the cover?
His name as you enter it, his mission, and the years — on both the full-size and the pocket journal, so they match. You'll see a preview of the exact layout before you pay.

Order now and leave the mission line blank. We'll hold production and email you once. Send us the mission when the call comes and we'll engrave it then.
What's the difference between the three sets?
The Journal is one full-size journal, a pen, and the gift box. The Companion Set adds a pocket journal for daily carry — it's what most people order. The Two-Year Set includes a second full-size journal, because most missionaries fill the first one around month nine and end up buying a mismatched replacement abroad.
How big are the journals?
The full-size journal is 7×10 with 240 lined pages and lay-flat binding, so it opens all the way on a desk. The pocket journal is 3.5×5.5 — sized to live in a bag all day.
Can you ship it straight to him?
Yes. Enter his address at checkout and add a gift note, and we'll include it in the box.
What if the engraving is wrong?
If we misspell it or the order arrives damaged, we remake and reship at no charge — no need to send the original back. Email us within 30 days with a photo and your order number.
Can I return a personalized journal?
Personalized items can't be resold, so they aren't eligible for return once production starts. You can cancel for a full refund any time before then, usually within 24 hours of ordering.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, at cost, calculated at checkout. Duties and customs fees are the recipient's responsibility and transit times vary by destination.
